![]() ![]() If you die, you'll warp back to your most recent Waypoint. You'll come across Waypoints at certain points around the map. Inscryption incorporates a few Dark Souls-like mechanics into Act 3. That said, we have seen a few that were downright terrifying. Fortunately, many of them have a low attack power, making them more of a nuisance than anything. You can get up to three stars, which will cause more powerful Bounty Hunters to attack. They will start to appear in your opponent's hand as you continue your journey. This means Bounty Hunters are now out to get you. Thus, you'll want several low-cost cards in your deck to keep your opponent from killing you early on. This means you won't be able to use some of your stronger cards until later rounds. Every turn, you'll get an extra Energy point to use. Instead, you'll have to rely on Energy accumulation. In this act, you won't be using Squirrels or Skeletons to build up your power. Empty Vessel Upgrade - Add a new Sigil to your Empty Vessel cards, making them much stronger as fodder cards.Card Creator Upgrade - Sacrifice one of your cards and then use it to build another card from scratch. ![]() Mox Upgrade - Choose a card to give bonus stats if that color Mox is on the board.Beast Upgrade - Choose a card and give it a beast transformation that happens after every turn.Overclock Upgrade - Add to your card's power, but if it dies it's completely wiped out of the game. ![]()
